Host Based Security System (HBSS)

This course will provide in-depth training on the benefits of the centralized management and deployment of McAfee products using McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee® ePO™) software. Students will be able to fully understand the capabilities of how their security solution not only reduces the risks of misconfiguration but also helps the organization get maximum protection from the installation.

Upon course completion, students will be able to perform the following:
• How to configure personal/user settings
• How to configure permissions
• Create custom permissions
• Create users/assign permissions
• View and interpret detailed information about your managed elements
• Describe the purpose of client tasks
• Describe the purpose of policies
• Create and edit policy objects
• Update McAfee ePO software-managed systems with scheduled or manual client tasks
• Create policies for Rogue System Detection
• Install sensors onto machines in your network
• Receive a certificate of completion or certification
